SHORT DESCRIPTION:

  A Point Of Sale program that performs cash register and inventory control
  functions.  Features amount rounding, discount and tax calculation, change
  calculation, and low stock warning, and provides a range of statistics.
  Quick to learn, easy to operate, and requires only inexpensive hardware.

LONGER DESCRIPTION:

  POSAT is a cash register program for the small to medium shop, and can
  handle up to 14,000 lines.  It is designed to operate on a normal computer
  with a cash drawer, a docket printer and maybe a scanner attached, making
  it much cheaper than an electronic cash register.  It is very easy to learn
  and will help you run your business more efficiently.  POSAT will give you
  daily, monthly and yearly totals, totals for every sales person, inventory
  control, low stock warning and the choice of any length of stock code.
  Supports full keyboard or scanner operation.  Choice of rounding methods,
  addition of taxes and discounts, and change calculation.  Use any simple
  word processor to alter the pricelist or write an account.  There is also a
  screen saver and many other functions available.
